As a Placement & Employer Engagement Officer/Manager at AUUP in Noida, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strong connections between the university, employers, and students. Your primary focus will be on facilitating internship and job opportunities by building relationships with industry professionals and potential employers. You will work directly under the Vice President of the Corporate Resource Centre and ensure students are well-prepared for job placements through effective communication and organizing career development events. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Generation: Identify new companies and engage them for internships, final placements, and other activities throughout the student lifecycle. - Enhance Placement Value: Focus on bringing top brands to campus, aiming for higher salary packages and improving Year-on-Year (YoY) increases in median salary offerings. - Event Organization: Plan and execute employer networking events, job fairs, and recruitment drives to connect students with potential employers. - Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry and economic developments to enhance outreach efforts and placement effectiveness. Qualifications: - Educational Background: Bachelors degree in business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (masters degree preferred). - Experience: Proven experience in career services, recruitment, or student outreach roles, preferably in a university or educational institution. In addition, prior experience with university placement outreach teams and connections with top companies for student placement are essential for this role. Your proactive attitude, passion for supporting students in their career journeys, strong networking capabilities, and commitment to maintaining high standards in employer engagement and placement services will be key to your success in this position.
