Key responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to: - Demonstrating skills in Process Piping with experience in engineering consultancy on industrial design projects in sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, bulk drugs, etc. - Dedication and strong problem-solving abilities. - Upholding high work ethics and acting responsibly. - Flexibility and adaptability to change. - Being a resourceful team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and visualization skills. - Understanding and meeting client/project requirements for timely project deliveries. - Preparation of equipment layouts for Process Areas and tank farms under senior engineers" guidance. - Developing Piping layouts for Process Plant buildings, utility areas, pipe racks, tank farms, etc. - Guiding designers in nozzle orientation and piping markups. - Checking Isometrics drawings, including system isos. - Calculating Piping MTO and SOQ. - Reviewing alignment with other disciplines" 3D/2D deliverables. - Ensuring quality checking of piping-related deliverables before submission. Candidate Specification: - Qualified BE/ME in Mechanical from a reputed university/institute. - Experience in Engineering Consultancy firms, with a background in the Chemical Industry/Pharmaceutical Industry. - Knowledge of piping-related codes and standards such as ASME, API, etc. - Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Proficiency in interpersonal skills: writing, speaking, listening, persuading, influencing, and collaborating. - Experience working both independently and in team-oriented environments. - Knowledge in preparation of Piping layouts for Process Plant buildings, utility areas, pipe racks, tank farms, etc. - Familiarity with working in a 3D environment, hands-on experience in Model review in Navisworks. - Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and MS Office.
