Job Description

As a Piping Design Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in EPC or industrial projects (steel, oil & gas, chemical, etc.), your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Review piping design, routing, and layout using 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, Smart Plant, etc. - Prepare piping specifications, material take-offs (MTO), and isometric drawings - Conduct pipe stress analysis using software like CAESAR II, START-Prof, or AutoPIPE - Review vendor drawings and equipment layout to accommodate piping interfaces - Ensure piping design compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, IS, or relevant codes and standards - Participate in design reviews including Model Review, HAZOP, and Constructability Review Your technical skills should include proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD, E3D, PDMS, SmartPlant 3D, familiarity with pipe stress analysis tools such as CAESAR II and AutoPIPE, a strong understanding of piping materials, fittings, valves, and support systems, knowledge of international design codes like ASME B31.3/B31.1, API, ASTM, and the ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, piping isometrics, and support drawings. In addition to the job role, the company offers benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund. The work location for this position is in person.
