Piping Design Engineer

As a Piping Designer, you will collaborate with other design teams and Senior Project Managers to develop innovative and intricate designs utilizing the latest techniques. Your role will involve ensuring all specifications are met and projects are completed on time. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze sketches, notes, and input materials to plan the best approach for creating drawings. - Develop complex piping drawings based on basic information like P&ID's, GA's, and piping specifications. - Support the Spooling Team for various process piping activities, including water, gas, air, and waste. - Coordinate with Piping Engineering Team and other disciplines to resolve design issues. - Extract reports from modeling software and review bill of material reports. - Apply knowledge of P&ID symbology and design fundamentals to solve design problems. - Work independently to produce high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision. - Have proficiency in Revit, Spooling for process piping, Naviswork, and mechanical equipment modeling. - Utilize AUTOCAD and other drafting or modeling software. - Be available for coordination with international offices during late evening hours. - Embrace a hybrid work environment with two days in the office and three days working from home. - Openness to work with Revit software and adhere to specified work timings. Qualifications: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 3 to 10 years of relevant design experience. - Proficient in Revit, Spooling, Naviswork, and mechanical equipment modeling. - Knowledge of AUTOCAD and other drafting or modeling software. - Ability to work during specified timings and communicate effectively in English.
