Job Description

Picker – Roles & Responsibilities at D-Mart Role: Select and collect items from inventory as per customer orders or store requirements. Responsibilities: Read and understand picking lists/instructions. Accurately pick items from shelves/racks. Check product quality, quantity, and expiry dates. Use hand-held scanners or manual records. Place items in bins/trolleys safely. Coordinate with packers or dispatch teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization in picking areas. Packer – Roles & Responsibilities at D-Mart Role: Pack the picked items securely for delivery or shelf stocking. Responsibilities: Receive picked items and verify against orders. Pack goods neatly using correct materials (boxes, bags, wrapping). Label each package properly (price, barcodes, etc.). Avoid damage or spillage during packing. Maintain packaging standards as per D-Mart policies. Report any missing/damaged items. Support dispatch or loading teams as needed.
