Physical Verification Engineer

As a Physical Verification Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of semiconductor designs with manufacturing rules and requirements. Your responsibilities will include running Design Rule Checking (DRC) using industry-standard tools, performing Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) verification, and verifying adherence to Electrical Rule Checking (ERC) standards. Collaboration with layout designers and manufacturing teams will be essential as you optimize layouts for the semiconductor fabrication process, address lithography concerns, and implement Resolution Enhancement Techniques (RET) to enhance printability. Additionally, you will work on Fill Insertion, Multi-Patterning, and Advanced Nodes to tackle challenges specific to advanced process nodes. Your expertise will be vital in conducting Hotspot Analysis to identify potential manufacturing defects, performing post-processing simulations, and collaborating with process integration teams for seamless integration with the semiconductor fabrication process. Maintaining detailed documentation of verification processes and results will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a BTECH/MTECH degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical verification within the semiconductor industry. Proficiency in physical verification, semiconductor technology, and very-large-scale integration (VLSI) will be key skills required for success in this position.
