Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress & PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress theme and plugin development, as well as experience with PHP frameworks. This role involves creating and maintaining websites, implementing new features, and ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. Write clean, well-documented, and reusable PHP code. Optimize website performance to ensure fast load times and high scalability. Debug and resolve website and server issues promptly. Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement responsive and visually appealing UI/UX. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites. Ensure websites are secure and up-to-date with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. Conduct regular website testing and debugging. Work with MySQL databases for creating, retrieving, and managing data. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a WordPress & PHP Developer. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with website performance optimization tools. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS. Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms. Understanding of web hosting environments, including cPanel and cloud hosting services.
