Photography Faculty

As a Photography Faculty member at our institution, you will play a crucial role in guiding and inspiring students to develop their artistic and professional photography skills. Your strong technical expertise in photography and creativity in visual storytelling will contribute to creating a dynamic learning environment. - Teach courses covering various aspects of photography, including basics, advanced techniques, studio photography, and digital editing. - Develop and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and practical assignments that adhere to industry standards. - Provide hands-on training on the use of cameras, lighting equipment, and editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. - Mentor students in building portfolios and executing creative projects. - Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and practices in the field of photography to incorporate them into your teaching. - Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and portfolio reviews. - Support extracurricular activities, workshops, and exhibitions related to photography. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic and creative initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field. - Professional experience in photography, with a preference for expertise in commercial, studio, fashion, product, or fine art photography. - Proficiency in DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio equipment, and photo editing software. - A strong portfolio that showcases your creativity, technical skills, and professional work. - Previous teaching or training experience would be advantageous. - Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
