Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Welcome patients and confirm their identity before sample collection Review testing instructions and requirements provided by doctors Identify the most suitable method for blood collection (venipuncture/fingerstick) Gather all necessary materials such as needles, vials, and collection tubes Collect blood samples safely and efficiently Label all specimens accurately according to standard procedures Keep laboratory equipment clean and in working condition Maintain accurate records of tests performed and samples collected Ensure timely transportation of specimens as per set protocols Provide basic explanations to patients and address their queries Evaluate abnormal test results to determine if retesting is required Adhere strictly to all laboratory and clinical guidelines during all procedures Candidate Profile: Strong communication skills in English and Kannada/Hindi; local language is a plus DMLT or B.Sc. MLT qualification is mandatory 12 years of relevant experience preferred Knowledge of age-specific care and ability to assess patient condition Ability to work independently with precision and minimal supervision Well-organized with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
