• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, inventory, and controlled substances.
• Prepare for and participate in audits by regulatory agencies.The Pharmacy In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy operations within a hospital setting.
• Daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the efficient dispensing of medications.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage drug procurement, and ensure the availability of essential medications.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for pharmacy staff.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes professional development.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Review medication orders for appropriateness, dosages, and potential interactions.
