Pharmacy Aide

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital settings, or critical care, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and aseptic techniques. The Pharmacy Aide plays a vital role in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Duties

• Assist licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with medication preparation and distribution
• Manage medication inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing supplies
• Support patient intake processes by verifying prescriptions and updating records
• Ensure proper documentation of medication administration and patient interactions
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment following infection control protocols
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and assisting with medication-related inquiries
