Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing patient counseling, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications.
Review prescriptions to ensure legality, completeness, and appropriateness.
Provide professional counseling to patients on medication usage, possible side effects, and interactions.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Maintain precise records of prescriptions, patient history, inventory, and controlled substances.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and place orders as required.
Advise patients on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and healthcare products.
Handle insurance claims and resolve any medication-related issues promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)/Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a licensed pharmacy or hospital setting.
Valid pharmacy license/registration as per local regulatory requirements.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and dosage management.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
