Job Summary:We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately. Review prescriptions for accuracy and proper dosage. Provide clear and professional counseling to patients on the correct use of medications, potential side effects, and storage instructions. Maintain proper records of dispensed medicines and controlled substances. Monitor drug therapies for potential interactions or contraindications. Ensure compliance with local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain inventory levels, check expiry dates, and manage stock efficiently. Handle procurement of medicines, placing orders, and communicating with suppliers. Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the pharmacy. Stay updated with new drugs, treatments, and medical advancements. Participate in audits, inspections, and quality control checks as required.
