Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians and other qualified practitioners, providing guidance on proper medication use, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Monitor patient health and progress to ensure medications are effective and safe.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and patient profiles.
• Manage inventory of medications and pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering and checking for expiration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize treatment plans and resolve any prescription-related issues.
• Provide immunizations and health screenings (if applicable and certified).
• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and computer systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in retail or hospital pharmacy.
• Certification in immunization administration, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), or other specialized areas.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle emergencies calmly.

Work Environment:

• May work in retail, hospital, clinic, or specialty pharmacies.
• Standing for long periods and occasional lifting may be required.
• Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be necessary depending on the employer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
