Position

• Title: Pharmacist
• Location: Janta Piles Clinic, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India
• Department: Pharmacy / Clinical Support

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians.
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Manage inventory, stock control, and storage of medications.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription data.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Registration: Valid Pharmacist license/Registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Experience: Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is desirable but not mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, customer service, and teamwork.

Desired Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and dispensing systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ethical and patient-centered approach.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Work Hours: Full-time; shift-based scheduling (including weekends if required).
• Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
