Job Description

Medication handling

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Measure, count, and package medications.
Prepare and print prescription labels.
Prepare intravenous (IV) solutions or assist in the compounding of medications under a pharmacist's supervision.
Distribute medications to various hospital wards and units.

Inventory management

Monitor stock levels, report out-of-stock items, and place orders for replenishment.
Check and remove expired medications from inventory.
Keep shelves organized and stocked according to therapeutic use or alphabetically.
Process drug deliveries and ensure proper storage.

Administrative and clerical duties

Enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy software.
Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems.
Answer phones and address inquiries from healthcare staff or patients.
Handle billing, insurance claims, and other pharmacy-related paperwork.

Patient safety and compliance

Adhere to strict pharmacy regulations, ethical standards, and safety protocols.
Ensure patient information remains confidential.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
