Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Teach Social Science subjects (History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics) to classes XI–XII as per CBSE guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional strategies to enhance learning.
• Use modern teaching methods, digital tools, and interactive techniques to improve classroom engagement.

2. Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct formative and summative assessments.
• Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student records.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support academic improvement.

3. Classroom Management

• Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage debates, group work, discussions, and project-based learning to build analytical thinking.

4. Student Mentoring

• Guide students in academic and personal development.
• Support students preparing for board examinations and competitive exams.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial classes when needed.

5. Professional Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings, subject enrichment programs, workshops, and trainings.
• Participate actively in school events, celebrations, and academic committees.
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay aligned with CBSE updates.

6. Administrative Duties

• Maintain lesson plan records, mark registers, and academic documentation.
• Coordinate with parents during PTMs regarding student performance and progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics (relevant specialization).
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Prior experience teaching senior secondary classes (preferred 3–5 years).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in ICT-based teaching.
