Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT Psychology Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Classes XI and XII) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, preparing students for board exams, and encouraging interest in the field of psychology through practical, interactive, and student-centered teaching methods. Key Responsibilities : Academic & Teaching Duties Plan and deliver engaging psychology lessons as per the CBSE syllabus for Classes XI and XII. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with learning objectives. Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and analyze student performance. Prepare students for CBSE board exams through rigorous practice and guidance. Student Engagement & Development Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through classroom discussions and case studies. Encourage students to relate psychological concepts to real-life situations. Guide and mentor students interested in psychology as a career. Support students with academic or emotional concerns related to the subject. Curriculum & Record Management Maintain records of lesson plans, student performance, attendance, and assessment data. Participate in curriculum development and review processes. Assist in the planning and execution of psychology-related school events or exhibitions. Professional Collaboration Coordinate with other subject teachers and school counselors when needed. Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns. Qualifications & Experience : Masters Degree in Psychology (M.A/M.Sc) from a recognized university. B.Ed. is mandatory as per CBSE norms. Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
