Job Description

The roles and responsibilities of a PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Physics in a CBSE-affiliated school. To deliver comprehensive, concept-based Physics education aligned with the CBSE curriculum, aimed at developing students' analytical thinking, scientific temperament, and problem-solving skills — while preparing them for board exams and competitive entrance tests (like JEE, NEET, CUET). Design lesson plans , lab activities, and multimedia presentations. Prepare students for CBSE board exams , practicals, and internal assessments. Supervise and conduct Physics practical sessions as per the CBSE syllabus. Maintain student progress records . Prepare question papers for school exams and pre-boards in line with CBSE patterns. Offer guidance for competitive exams (like JEE, NEET Physics section). Strong conceptual clarity and command over Physics Effective communication and presentation skills Lab management and practical teaching ability Student-friendly and inquiry-driven approach Familiarity with tools like PhET simulations , Smart Boards, etc. Teach fundamental and advanced concepts of Physics in a clear, structured, and engaging manner. Guide students in performing experiments, understanding physical principles, and maintaining scientific records. Train students to tackle both theoretical and practical components of the CBSE board exams confidently. Foster curiosity, logical reasoning, and a deep understanding of the physical world.
