PGT Mathematics Teacher(Experienced)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics to join our teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Samacheer syllabus and possess a passion for teaching mathematics to senior secondary students (Classes 11 & 12). The candidate will play a key role in fostering students' mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and preparing them for academic success in board exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Samacheer syllabus for Classes 11 and 12.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
• Prepare and evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor and support students' academic progress, offering additional help as needed.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to mathematics (e.g., math clubs, competitions).
• Integrate technology and digital resources into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
• Encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity in problem-solving.
• Stay updated on current educational trends, developments in the Samacheer syllabus, and advancements in mathematics education.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the Samacheer syllabus for Mathematics at the senior secondary level.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics to Classes 11 and 12.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students, making complex topics accessible and interesting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with using educational technology and online platforms for teaching.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in the school’s academic and co-curricular programs.
• Work collaboratively with other subject teachers to integrate interdisciplinary teaching methods.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
