PGT History

Job Summary:

The PGT History teacher will be responsible for teaching History to students of classes 11 and 12, preparing them for CBSE board exams, and nurturing a deep understanding and appreciation for historical knowledge and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach History to students of classes 9 to 12 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Prepare academic lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in line with CBSE guidelines.
• Track student progress and maintain records of academic performance.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students through remedial and enrichment classes.
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations with focused revision plans and mock tests.
• Encourage historical inquiry, critical thinking, and research-based learning.
• Organize history-related activities, exhibitions, and field trips to enhance experiential learning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and academic coordinators for interdisciplinary learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Contribute to school publications, debates, and cultural activities as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
