SFS School, Narengi is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to serve as PGT History. The role requires a subject expert with a strong foundation in historical knowledge and pedagogy, capable of inspiring students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep appreciation for the subject. The ideal candidate will demonstrate academic excellence, innovative teaching practices, and a commitment to the overall growth and development of learners in alignment with the school’s vision.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in History with B.Ed.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Proficient in using digital tools and technology for teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Foster an environment that encourages historical inquiry, critical analysis, and research-based learning.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations, and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare students for academic success by covering the curriculum thoroughly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to the preparation of report cards and documentation.
• Participate actively in school events, academic planning meetings, and training programs.
• Collaborate with peers on interdisciplinary activities and curriculum development.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom updates.
• Uphold the values and policies of the institution, including discipline and academic integrity.
