Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT English Teacher to teach senior secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of English language and literature, and a strong ability to engage students in reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive English lessons for Grades 11 and 12
• Teach literature, grammar, writing, and communication as per the prescribed curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and evaluation tools
• Encourage analytical thinking and creative expression among students
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and faculty development programs
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate learning across subjects

Requirements

• M.A in English and B.Ed is mandatory
• 2 to 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Familiarity with board exam patterns and question formats (CBSE/State Board)
• Commitment to academic excellence and student-centered teaching
