We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PERN Stack GIS Developer with 1–2 years of professional experience to join our geospatial development team. You’ll be working on web applications that integrate geospatial data, modern mapping tools, and scalable backend services. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in full-stack development and a keen interest in GIS technologies and interactive maps.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain full-stack GIS web applications using PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
Implement interactive, map-based UIs using Maplibre GL JS.
Work with PostGIS to store, query, and manipulate spatial data.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for geospatial data services.
Ingest and process various spatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, WMS/WFS).
Solid understanding of GIS principles, geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, raster), and coordinate systems
Proficient in frontend mapping libraries like Leaflet, Mapbox GL JS, or OpenLayers.
Experience with GIS servers like GeoServer, MapServer, or QGIS Server.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
