Performance Testing & Engineering

Performance Testing & Engineering:

• Independently manage end-to-end performance testing lifecycle including planning, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and participate in functional walkthroughs.
• Develop performance test strategies, plans, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Execute performance tests using

  LoadRunner (LRE 2022, 12.56, 12.xx)

   and

  LoadRunner Cloud

   across protocols such as:

• Web HTTP/HTML

• SAP GUI

• SAP Fiori

• Middleware (Web Services, APIs, JMS, etc.)

• Perform performance testing of

  SAP ECC applications

  , identifying bottlenecks and tuning for optimal performance.
• Support capacity planning, workload modeling, and performance risk assessments.

Monitoring & Diagnostics:

• Use tools like

  Dynatrace

  ,

  Diagnostics

  , and other APM solutions for real-time monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Perform performance tuning and bottleneck analysis for SAP applications.
• Leverage SAP utilities such as:

• ST03N, STAD, ST12, SM37

• SAP Solution Manager

• HANA Cockpit

• Analyze traces including:

• ABAP trace

• Performance trace

• SQL trace

Leadership & Co-ordination:

• Lead performance testing efforts across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure quality delivery of performance testing artifacts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate performance findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently.
• Deep understanding of SAP performance diagnostics and monitoring.
• Familiarity with performance engineering best practices in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
