Performance Testing

Role Overview: You should have 7-15 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. You are expected to be proficient in JMeter and custom coding, with good knowledge in Java/Python programming. Your responsibilities will include having in-depth knowledge of the performance engineering process and different types of tests, such as load, stress, endurance, stability, and resiliency tests. You should also be an expert in Test Planning, Test Strategy, workload model design, Test case design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, and Defect Management. Additionally, you should have experience in gathering Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) from scratch for a performance testing project and the ability to understand hardware and software architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Scripting, designing, and executing Non-functional tests using JMeter with knowledge of various protocols like HTTP/HTML, Rest, Queues, Web Services, and asynchronous requests - Conducting API performance testing - Monitoring system performance using APM tools like AppDynamics and DataDog - Following Agile/DevOps performance engineering methodology - Optionally, performing Frontend Performance testing - Leading a team or mentoring junior resources - Being a good team player - Communicating effectively with different stakeholders Qualifications Required: - 7-15 years of relevant experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering - Proficiency in JMeter and custom coding - Good knowledge in Java/Python programming - Experience in Test Planning, Test Strategy, workload model design, Test case design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, and Defect Management - Ability to gather NFR from scratch for a performance testing project - Understanding of hardware and software architecture - Skill in scripting, design, and execution of Non-functional tests using JMeter with knowledge of various protocols - Experience in API performance testing - System performance monitoring skills using APM tools like AppDynamics and DataDog - Familiarity with Agile/DevOps performance engineering methodology - Optional: Knowledge in Frontend Performance testing - Optional: Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior resources - Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders,
