Job Summary:

Performance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing:

• Design and develop performance test scripts using

  Apache JMeter

  for web and API applications.
• Conduct

  load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing

  to evaluate system behavior.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers to optimize performance.
  
• Prepare detailed

  performance test reports

  highlighting key findings and recommendations.

• Functional & Automation Testing:

• Utilize

  Selenium WebDriver

  for automation of functional test cases.
• Participate in

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  by validating end-to-end business processes and ensuring readiness for production.
• Use

  Postman

  for API functional and regression testing.

• Defect Management & Reporting:

• Log and track defects in

  JIRA

  and work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to define performance KPIs and test strategies.
  
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes with test automation and performance testing integration.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in

  Performance Testing

  using

  Apache JMeter

  .
• Knowledge of

  Performance Metrics

  (throughput, response time, latency, error rate, etc.).
• Experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

  for functional automation testing.
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  using

  Postman

  .
• Familiarity with

  JIRA

  for defect management and test tracking.
• Good understanding of

  UAT processes

  , workflows, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Knowledge of

  HTTP protocols, databases, and web services

  .
• Experience with

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .

Nice to Have:

• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of

  performance monitoring tools

  (Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace).
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
