Description for Internal Candidates

Collaborate with development teams to understand the architecture, design, and requirements of software applications and identify performance testing needs and objectives. Design and develop performance test scenarios, scripts, and data sets based on application requirements and performance testing goals. Execute and monitor performance tests using various performance testing tools and frameworks. Identify and analyze performance and scalability bottlenecks, and work closely with developers to propose and implement appropriate optimizations. Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues, using performance monitoring tools and techniques, and make recommendations for performance enhancements. Create clear and concise performance test reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing, identifying opportunities to enhance the performance testing process. Proficient in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling etc. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in performance testing of software applications. Excellent knowledge of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Strong understanding of various performance testing types, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Solid understanding of web technologies, including protocols (HTTP/S, REST, SOAP), browsers, caching, and security. Experience with performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace etc. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
