Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead NFR gathering and validation with business, architecture, security, and infrastructure stakeholders in BFS programs.
Define performance test strategy, approach, and execution plans aligned with regulatory, audit, and enterprise standards.
Hands-on expertise in JMeter, including multi-protocol testing (HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, etc.).
Design realistic workload models based on customer journeys, transaction mix, peak usage, and business volumes.
Plan and oversee execution of Load, Stress, Endurance (Soak), Scalability, and Spike tests across environments (PT/DC/DR)
Review and govern test scripts, scenarios, parameterization, and test data strategies prepared by team members.
Collaborate with development, middleware, database, and infrastructure teams for environment readiness, monitoring, and tuning.
Perform in-depth performance analysis, identify bottlenecks across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
Provide actionable tuning recommendations and to validate fixes and improvements.
Manage performance defects, risks, and dependencies, escalating critical issues to program and delivery leadership.
Prepare and present performance test reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to senior stakeholders.

Mentor and coach junior engineers, supporting capability building and practice growth
