Performance Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
• Analyze system behavior under load and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for performance improvements.
• Use monitoring and APM tools to collect and analyze performance metrics during test execution.
• Troubleshoot and support the resolution of performance-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed performance test reports and share results with stakeholders.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in performance testing.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Ability to design, develop, and execute performance test scripts for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics and identifying application and infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar APM tools.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, application behavior, and performance tuning concepts.
• Ability to document test results clearly and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
