Performance Test Architect

Role Overview: As a Performance Test Architect with over 10 years of technical experience, your role will involve strategizing and engineering performance tests, with a preference for experience in the BFSI sector. You will be responsible for analyzing system and application architecture to reduce project risks and provide technical leadership, training, and mentoring to the performance engineering team. Your ability to analyze technical architecture, troubleshoot issues, derive performance solutions, and guide the team towards innovations will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing system and application architecture to identify additional testing entry points - Providing technical leadership, training, and mentoring to the performance engineering team - Deriving performance engineering solutions based on customer requirements - Troubleshooting issues faced by project teams and suggesting solutions - Guiding the team towards innovations and supporting in PoCs/PoVs - Authoring or reviewing project-level test strategy/plan artifacts - Mitigating production performance issues effectively - Demonstrating expert-level knowledge of Performance testing and Monitoring tools - Developing test scripts for performance testing - Monitoring infrastructure components in high availability web systems - Analyzing test results, identifying issues, and working with architects and developers to suggest improvements - Discovering thresholds and data impact, making performance recommendations - Maintaining awareness of emerging technology trends and applying knowledge in establishing new technology solutions Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Performance testing tools like Load Runner/Performance Center, HP Loadrunner Diagnostics/HP Sitescope - Experience with technologies like J2EE, AJAX, .NET, Oracle, Message Queues, SOA, etc. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Wily Introscope, dynaTrace, etc. - Knowledge of platforms such as Jboss, Websphere, IIS, etc. - Proficiency in XML, SOA, and Message Queues - Experience in working on mobility, Big Data, and cloud applications is preferable - Willingness to travel and work in different locations based on customer requirements (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
