Job Description

Role Overview: At Atrium, you will be joining a consulting firm that has been at the forefront of the AI-driven world, reshaping industries, and empowering organizations to thrive in the era of technological advancement. As a People Manager, Data Engineering, you will lead and support a team of Data Engineers, focusing on their operational and professional development to enable technical leaders and architects to excel in delivery, technical excellence, and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for the Data Engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support. - Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture. - Address team member concerns, resolve conflicts, and escalate complex issues appropriately. - Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with each team member to discuss performance, challenges, and career aspirations. - Facilitate performance reviews, gather 360-degree feedback, and communicate constructive feedback effectively. - Develop and monitor individual growth plans and learning paths for team members. - Collaborate with technical leadership to identify skill gaps and align training with project needs. - Manage project allocations for the team, ensuring optimal utilization and aligning skills with project requirements. - Track and approve team members" time cards accurately and efficiently. - Monitor project statuses from a people perspective, understanding workload and potential burnout, and communicating risks to stakeholders. - Utilize HRMS tools for onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and other administrative tasks for the team. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Assist with internal communications, disseminate company updates, and gather team feedback. - Contribute to broader practice operations initiatives to improve team efficiency and operational excellence within Data Engineering. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education. - 10+ years of experience in people management, team lead, or project coordination role, preferably in a technology or consulting environment. - Demonstrated experience in managing team members, performance, and professional development. - Strong understanding of operational aspects such as resource allocation, time tracking, and project status reporting. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust. - High level of empathy, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for people development. - Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency with HRMS tools and project management software. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.,
