PEMB Sheeting Checker(Tekla AND AUTO CAD)

Job Description

The PEMB Sheeting Checker is responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of sheeting drawings, material lists, and installation details used in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). Key Responsibilities: Review and check sheeting drawings (roof and wall panels, trims, flashings, etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards and customer specifications. Ensure coordination between sheeting drawings and structural/shop drawings to prevent conflicts during erection. Verify panel layout, orientation, overlaps, and fastener details are correctly represented. Cross-check material lists and bill of materials (BOM) for correct quantities and specifications. Identify and flag potential errors, clashes, or omissions in the sheeting detailing process. Collaborate with detailing teams, engineers, and project managers to resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, project requirements, and standard detailing practices. Maintain proper documentation and revision history of checked drawings. Provide feedback and support for continuous improvement in detailing standards and procedures. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 5+ years of experience in PEMB industry, preferably in detailing or checking sheeting drawings. Strong understanding of PEMB systems, sheeting components, and installation techniques. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar). Knowledge of industry codes and standards (AISC, MBMA, ASTM, etc.).
