Pega Lead System Architect

• The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing customer decisioning solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
• Responsible for creating Next-Best-Action strategies to enhance personalized customer interactions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, marketing teams, and technical architects to translate business needs into scalable Pega CDH solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop decisioning and arbitration strategies using Pega CDH.
• Build and optimize customer engagement models and policies across omni-channel platforms.
• Implement AI-driven decisioning components such as Next-Best-Action, Engagement Policies, Adaptive Models, and Predictive Analytics.
• Integrate Pega CDH with other enterprise systems using API protocols such as SOAP and REST.
• Perform performance tuning, testing, and quality assurance for decisioning applications.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews, code walkthroughs, and deployment processes.
• Support upgrades and manage parallel developments in Pega CDH environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data science, marketing, and compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and Pega CDH features.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical fields.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Pega development with specialization in Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
• Strong understanding and practical experience in Pega CDH frameworks, including Situation Layer Cake, Next-Best-Action Designer, Prediction Studio, and Engagement Policies.
• Experience in integrating Pega with Oracle, SQL, Java, XML, and other technologies.
• Familiarity with performance tuning, session management, custom logging, rule dependencies, and Pega best practices.
• Knowledge of Pega upgrade processes and managing architecture design reviews.
• Certification such as Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) and Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is expected. Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant (CPDC) is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with banking or financial services projects is often preferred.
• Exposure to Cassandra database for Pega CDH is a plus.
• Experience working in remote or distributed team setups.
