PEB Site Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer, your primary responsibilities will include identifying potential hazards, supervising on-site health, safety, and environmental control, and promoting the safe conduct of site work and environment protection. You will be tasked with ensuring that all employees/workers are issued with and properly use the correct PPE and safety devices for the work being performed. Conducting employees" safety induction, day visitor/toolbox talks, and keeping records of training and attendees will also be part of your duties. In the event of incidents, accidents, or near-miss events, you will be responsible for investigating to determine the root, basic, and immediate causes. Your role will involve ensuring that corrective/preventive actions are implemented for all safety-related events. It will be crucial for you to enforce compliance with company HSE rules among all employees and subcontractors. Additionally, you will need to ensure that minutes of the HSE Committee Meeting are distributed to all levels of management and employees. Regular reviews of HIRAs and their application/adherence in the workplace will also fall under your purview. Hazards waste management will be another area where your attention and oversight will be required. This is a full-time position that requires on-site presence.,
