Pcb Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop

  high-speed, high-voltage, and multi-layer PCBs

  for power electronics applications.
• Independently handle the

  entire PCB layout process

  , from

  schematic creation to Gerber release

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  IEC standards

  related to

  EMC/EMI, Safety, and Reliability

  .
• Conduct

  Power and Signal Integrity analysis, DFM/DFX, and Thermal analysis

  to enhance design performance.
• Perform

  PCB inspection, testing, and design reviews

  , ensuring functionality, quality, and manufacturability.
• Work on

  stacked and complex boards with a high layer count

  , optimizing designs for performance and reliability.
• Maintain and update

  PCB design documents

  , ensuring seamless collaboration with technical teams.
• Propose and implement

  process improvements

  to enhance PCB quality and lifecycle management.
• Verify existing designs, recommend improvements, and execute

  change order processes

  as per customer or internal requirements.
• Work closely with

  cross-functional and global teams

  to support design and development activities.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong expertise in PCB design

  for

  power electronics, high-speed, and multi-layer PCBs

  .
• Proficiency in

  PCB CAD/CAM design tools

  such as

  PADS, Altium Designer

  , with

  extensive experience in Cadence Allegro

  (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of

  PCB fabrication and assembly processes

  .
• Experience with

  DFM/DFX, Power & Signal Integrity analysis, and Thermal analysis

  .
• Strong understanding of

  SVN/Windchill PLM, Arena, PDM tools

  , and

  PCB lifecycle processes

  .
• Experience in

  creating BOM, fabrication & assembly drawings for ECO processes

  .
• Ability to

  identify technical risks

  , propose mitigation strategies, and implement

  process improvements

  .

• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

  to coordinate with local and global teams.

• IPC process certification

  in PCB Designing is an added advantage.
