Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform schematic capture and create/maintain component libraries
Execute end-to-end PCB design, from schematics to Gerber and manufacturing file release
Design and layout medium to complex PCBs, including multilayer, impedance-controlled, mixed-signal, and high power/current/voltage boards
Implement high-speed routing and high-power PCB layout techniques
Design and support layouts involving BGA, FPGA, Ethernet, and DDR interfaces
Ensure designs meet design requirements and manufacturability standards (DFM, DFT, DFA)
Apply IPC standards and best practices for EMI/EMC compliance
Address signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and thermal design challenges
Review, validate, and optimize PCB designs for performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and support product development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout
Hands-on experience with ORCAD and Cadence Allegro
Solid knowledge of IPC standards and PCB design best practices
Experience with high-speed, high-power, and complex PCB designs
Understanding of EMI/EMC, SI/PI, and thermal design considerations
Ability to review and validate designs independently
Excellent communication skills and a self-driven, proactive attitude
