Based in Verna, Goa, you will oversee shift schedules, work allocation, and prioritize workloads to meet production targets and objectives as directed by the Operations Supervisor. You will manage and mentor shop-floor workers and shift leaders to optimize overall effectiveness during shifts. It is essential to ensure that systems and procedures are followed, employees are punctual and adhering to safety regulations, and company policies are upheld. In emergency situations, you will make independent decisions on corrective actions. Your responsibilities will include administering supervisory duties for manufacturing personnel, training, performance evaluation, corrective action, promotional recommendations, and work schedules. Collaborating with various support functions to resolve production problems, provide feedback to engineering and management, and complete daily and monthly status reports related to production, employee performance, conduct, and process flow. Required Qualifications: - Degree/diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Management, or a related business discipline. - Minimum 5 years of experience with a high level of skill and knowledge in local manufacturing/production operations, including supervisory experience or qualities. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in SAP for time and attendance, material transactions, etc. - Excellent communication and leadership skills with PC knowledge and experience. - Strong people skills and potential for leadership development.
