As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within Payments Operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure ficial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between ficial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.

Job responsibilities

  • Evaluate transactions to determine if they will require escalation to compliance according to JPMorgan Compliance Guidelines
  • Run tests ensuring the quality of the sanctioned entity lists including investigating any anomalies. Participate in testing programs ensuring the quality of LOB messages sent to the filter, and support the departments various other testing programs,
  • be asked to perform independent testing, draw conclusions, and present those conclusions
  • be asked to support other areas of the CSU in activities related to business management support, Leverage technology by means of system enhancements and always adopt best practices by partnering within GSO
  • Identify and escalate issues & challenges on time to the management. Actively participate in new programs within the function
  • Take appropriate actions and make isions that mitigate risk to the department.
  • Work closely within the team to ensure all the daily activities and checklists are completed
  • Actively participate in new projects
  • Respond to client services/internal queries in a timely fashion to ensure all queries are logged and resolved within the appropriate time frame.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of ISO or Swift message processing or management.
  • Experience and a strong working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Fircosoft Transaction Screening application
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor s degree
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and having the determination to follow through while escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Strong analytical skills who uses creative problem-solving techniques to solve business issues.
  • Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexible with Variable shift (Including Night Shift)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Sanctions screening will be an added advantage.
