Patient & Financial Counselor

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in hospital counseling or patient coordination
Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Commerce, or related field

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Commerce, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in patient and financial counseling within a hospital setting
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hospital billing systems and insurance procedures preferred
• Compassionate attitude with attention to detail and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient counseling regarding admission, treatment procedures, and hospital services
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families during their hospital stay
• Conduct financial counseling by explaining treatment cost estimates, billing details, and insurance coverage
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing departments to ensure accurate communication and transparency
• Assist patients with insurance documentation, approvals, and claims processing
• Maintain detailed counseling records, patient feedback, and financial discussions confidentially
• Handle patient concerns with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
