Patient Counselor

We are looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Counselor to support patients and their families throughout their medical treatment journey. As a female Counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing emotional support and guidance before, during, and after medical procedures. Your key responsibilities will include building confidence in patients by offering clear information about doctors and treatment plans, scheduling appointments based on medical urgency, guiding patients to different departments within the medical facility, ensuring completion of pre-treatment formalities, and coordinating with treating doctors and the Medical Director for patient updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting patients during treatment, educating them and their families about medication and follow-up schedules, monitoring patient progress, and arranging further care if necessary. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills in Hindi, English, and local dialects. Your soft skills, empathetic nature, approachability, and attentive listening abilities will be essential. Strong analytical and observational skills, along with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maturity, are also required. You should be comfortable working with individuals of diverse age groups and genders, demonstrating a high level of patience, politeness, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should hold a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field, along with at least 12 years of experience in patient counseling or healthcare support services.
