Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Coordinate with TPA desk for admission and query resolutions
  • To coordinate (OP & IP) between the patients and the doctors or any other department if in case any patient faces any problem. (Vary department wise).
  • To manage OPD appointments & Follow up with patients for OPD / Procedure.
  • To coordinate conversion from OP to IP & OP to Pharmacy.
  • To coordinate OP movement to Diagnostics / Procedure / Non-invasive cardiology.
  • To get number of planned discharges from treating doctors and share the same with ALOS team.
  • To collate data for presentation in Monthly Departmental meeting. And prepare all the statistics of the department.
  • To look after the pre-op, new patients and inform the doctor accordingly.
  • Follow up of the admitted patients to be done as follows: - (vary department wise)
  • Keep track of all kinds of patients (Cash/Insurance/Corporate)
  • Query RESOLUTION to be done for TPA/ Corporate patients.
  • Departmental indents to be taken care of.
  • Look after the Maintenance of the department.
  • To look after operation theatre (OT) bookings.
  • To look after bill settlement of the patient.
  • To arrange for departmental meetings and CMEs and ensure participation of departmental staff in all events/meetings/conferences.
  • Departmental promotional activities to be done as per instruction.
  • To handle all the official/administrative work of the doctors.
  • To ensure adherence to attendance management system of the department (including punching and roster).
  • To ensure effective and efficient utilization of departmental funds.
  • Keep track of Employee vaccination for all Doctors & Employees &
  • ensure preservation of data to meet NABH complianc

Preferred candidate profile

  • Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Outlook operations.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring that the focus on quality is not diluted.

  • Good Communication & Inter personal skills, Pro activeness, Self Driven.
  • Presentable
  • Punctuality/Dress code/ Adherence to hospital policies
