Pathologist

As a Pathologist at Path Labs, Pathankot, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and performing diagnostic evaluations on clinical specimens to contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your responsibilities will include: - Examining and interpreting histopathology, cytology, and hematology specimens. - Reviewing clinical laboratory findings and correlating them with clinical data. - Providing accurate and timely diagnostic reports to clinicians. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, you will also be responsible for: - Maintaining and implementing quality control procedures in accordance with NABL and other accreditation standards. - Participating in internal and external quality assessment programs. Additionally, as a Laboratory Pathologist, you will be expected to: - Supervise laboratory technologists, technicians, and support staff. - Provide training and technical guidance to laboratory personnel. - Participate in the evaluation and introduction of new diagnostic techniques. - Stay updated with current advancements in pathology and laboratory medicine. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate records and documentation for all laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and safety regulations, and supporting audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.
