Role Description This is an on-site, full-time Pathologist role based in Mumbai at Apollo Clinic - Andheri East. The Pathologist will oversee laboratory operations, analyze samples, and provide diagnostic expertise in pathology and histology. Responsibilities include performing laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with medical guidelines, collaborating with healthcare teams, and delivering accurate results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications MD Pathologist having experience around 8 - 10years. To be responsible for the overall functioning of the lab & ensuring of all tests results accurately To make sure accurate reports are given to patients after checking past values of abnormal parameters/subject to recheck if history needed/correlating history and symptoms/on time. To ensure quality standards are maintained in the lab according to the SOPs. To check controls and calibrations on the equipments daily and suggest corrective actions wherever required. To co-ordinate with quality manager and ensure processing of all samples are completed within TAT. To verify all test results before final dispatch to the patients. To interact with clinicians or other members of the team to facilitate departmental operations or resolve queries if any. If any discrepancy related to wrong test/ wrong sample/ missing sample/ manual error in typing has happened, prompt corrective and restorative act on to be taken after informing centre manager & management. To do fortnightly staff regarding their own departments and other dept. To question staff regarding their own departments and other suggestions as per need. To co-ordinate with management to ensure effective implementation of lab procedures/methods and communication of lab requirements. To periodically update management with new technology or tests to upgrade lab. Completed training of NABL ISO 15189-2012. Define, implement, and monitor NABL standards of performance in quality control, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness of the laboratory service. To review & release error free lab reports. Coordinate with Quality Manager to review the lab performance. Provide educational direction and opportunities for the medical and laboratory staff, and participate in educational programs of the institution as appropriate. We are looking for the candidate who can join on immediate basis having complete training of NABL ISO 15189-2012, who have handle the NABL Audits
