Job Description

1. Adequate well trained staff available for the department based on the scope of tests, complexity of tests and volume of work in the department.
2. Ownership of Instruments and tasks assigned to each staff.
3. Monitoring equipment function through routine equipment maintenance (PM & calibration).
4. Monitoring reagent, calibrator and control inventory. To ensure that expired material is not in stock or in use.
5. Ensure all department staff has adequate resources to perform various aspects of work required.
6. Review of Validation records for new kits with evidence.
7. Identify the need for adding new tests in scope.
8. Active participation in QC review, internal audits & external audits.

Internal TrainingPlan & Conduct CMEs for staff at all levels
