Job Description

Role Overview: As a Patent Search Analyst at Clarivate in Noida, you will have the opportunity to work with Fortune 100 clients in the chem/Pharma domain, supporting them in various phases of IP Life cycle management. Your responsibilities will include executing searches for technical information, analyzing patents and non-patent literature, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute towards achieving team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Execute searches of low, medium, and high complexity for technical information related to patentability, State of the Art, Freedom-to-Operate, In/validity, and Patent Analytics services. - Perform qualitative analysis of patents and non-patent literature from a technical perspective. - Understand and discern the technical nuances of patent disclosures and identify relevant prior art through a comprehensive search strategy. - Communicate and collaborate with customers to meet project objectives and deadlines. - Build and update IP patent and non-patent literature database knowledge through trainings and knowledge sharing sessions. - Proactively update technical skill set in emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related domain. - 5 years of IP service experience with intermediate knowledge of US, European, and/or other jurisdiction patent law. - Expertise in utilizing patent and non-patent literature search databases. - Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel. - Preferred: M. Sc/M. Tech/Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related domain. - Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including chart/graph generation and data handling.
