Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing guidance and support in creating and safeguarding intellectual property within the relevant industry. Your role will involve conducting workshops, collaborating with different departments for idea generation, reviewing ideas for patentability, and performing patent studies on various technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Educate and motivate engineers on intellectual property creation and protection - Conduct ideation workshops and coordinate with various business functions for new idea generation - Work closely with R&D engineers to enhance the rate of idea conversion to patents - Evaluate ideas for patentability and draft key features for patent protection - Perform relevant patent studies for patentability, Freedom to Operate, Invalidation, State of Art search, and infringement on different technologies Qualification Required: - BE/ B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication / Electrical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in relevant Tech Industry - Registered patent agent preferred - Minimum of 3-6 years working with Intellectual Property - Proficiency in SEP analysis in the field of Telecom architectures, wireless charging, and audio/video technologies - Experience in Electric Vehicle hardware/software, Vehicular wireless communication systems, connected cars, etc. - Preferably from Telecom/ Digital/ IT industry with IP experience Additional Company Details: - Should have proficiency in Telecom architectures, wireless charging, and audio/video technologies - Good understanding of patent classifications, standards, and patent databases - Ability to analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively and present reports to management - Good understanding of the Indian Patenting system - Attitude to develop understanding of diverse technology areas and strong interpersonal skills Other requirements: - Knowledge of Japanese patent law would be an added advantage - Good understanding of Automobile technology would be an added advantage,
