Job Title: Pastry Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for design, and a commitment to maintaining consistency, taste, and appearance in all pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, cookies, tarts, mousses, breads, and specialty desserts.
• Develop new and innovative dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure consistency in product quality, portion sizes, and flavor across all servings.
• Manage daily operations of the pastry section, including inventory, ordering, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
• Stay current on trends in pastry and baking techniques.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role in a professional kitchen.
• Culinary or pastry degree/diploma preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pastry arts, baking techniques, and presentation skills.
• Creative flair with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with kitchen tools, equipment, and baking ingredients.

• May involve working early mornings, weekends, or holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
