Part-Time Physical Education Teacher

The Secondary Physical Education Teacher is responsible for delivering a high-quality and inclusive PE curriculum that supports the physical, social, and emotional development of students. This role focuses on creating meaningful learning experiences that align with the school s vision of nurturing global citizens. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching practices, support student progress through ongoing assessment, and contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.

Report to:

• Deliver a first-language PE curriculum aligned with school standards.


• Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate lessons that address diverse student needs.


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching resources and improve departmental practices.


• Monitor, assess, and report student progress using formative and summative assessment tools.


• Use student data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs.


• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment in alignment with school policies.


• Maintain accurate records of student performance and report to stakeholders as needed.


• Attend and actively participate in departmental and school-wide meetings.


• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.


• Contribute to whole-school learning initiatives and professional goals.

• Represent and uphold the school s mission, values, and professional image.


• Demonstrate high standards of organization, punctuality, and work ethic.


• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Physical Education or a related field (required)


• Postgraduate qualification (desirable)

Experience:

• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in Secondary


• Experience in international education (desirable)

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centered PE lessons


• Strong classroom management and pastoral care skills
