Job Description – Packing Supervisor (Elastic / Garment Industry)

Position Title: Packing Supervisor

Department: Production / Packing

Location: Konika Intima Pvt. Ltd.

Reporting To: Packing Incharge / Production Manager

Job Purpose:

The Packing Supervisor will oversee day-to-day packing floor operations, ensuring products are packed correctly, in proper quantities, labeled as per customer specifications, and dispatched on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise packing workers and assign daily work schedules.
• Ensure correct product, size, and quantity are packed as per order sheet.
• Monitor use of packing materials (cartons, labels, polybags, tapes, etc.) to avoid wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety on the packing floor.
• Inspect finished packs for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling.
• Coordinate with QC and Dispatch team for smooth workflow.
• Maintain packing records (daily output, rejects, shortages).
• Report any issues (material shortage, machine breakdown, manpower shortage) to Packing Incharge.
• Train workers for efficient and safe packing practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 12th pass / Diploma (preferred: textile/garment background).
• 2–4 years of experience in packing supervision (garment/elastic/textile industry preferred).
• Basic knowledge of packing materials & documentation.
• Ability to handle team of packing workers.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel preferred).
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
